6th Annual CHOP Immune Dysregulation Symposium

3401 Civic Center Blvd, CHOP Hub for Clinical Collaboration, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Date:
Jun 7, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (ET)

Join us for our 6th Annual CHOP Immune Dysregulation Symposium, Going Down the DIRT Path: From Mechanism to Treatment of Immune Dysregulation, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at CHOP’s Hub for Clinical Collaboration in Philadelphia. This symposium is hosted by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) Multidisciplinary Immune Dysregulation Team, and is for clinicians, researchers, and those who care for patients with complex multiorgan immune disease.

During this full-day, hybrid event, we will explore the pathway approach from mechanism to treatment of immune dysregulation. You can look forward to cutting-edge talks, a debate on therapeutic decision-making, review of provocative cases and more, in addition to addresses by our keynote speakers, Melissa Hines, MD, Lionel B. Ivashkiv, MD and Hal M. Hoffman, MD.

Dr. Hines is Director of the Histiocytosis and Immune Dysregulation Team, and an Associate Member of the Critical Care Medicine Division of the Pediatric Medicine Department at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Dr. Ivashkiv is Chief Scientific Officer at Hospital for Special Surgery and Professor of Medicine and Immunology at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Dr. Hoffman is a professor of Pediatrics and Medicine and Chief of the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital. His lab was the first to identify the genetic basis of four human diseases, including NLRP3, the gene responsible for cryopyrin associated periodic syndromes (CAPS).

We are eager to hear from these trusted industry experts as we expand our knowledge of immune dysregulation and disease.

During the seminar, you will gain an understanding of:

  • Treatment approaches for immune dysregulation conditions
  • How to utilize pathways as a foundation for clinical care
  • Organ system involvement in immune dysregulation
