Colket Endowed Chair in Pediatric Nursing at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, was recently named a “Living Legend” by the American Academy of Nursing. Her research has highlighted the importance of relationship-based care when partnering with parents of critically ill children, supported parent presence during invasive procedures and resuscitation, and informed the practice of caring for critically-ill pediatric patients with acute respiratory failure.

Curley will officially receive this honor during the Academy’s Health Policy Conference in October in Washington, DC.
