Stephanie Fooks-Parker Presented with the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation 2023 Pitcher of Hope Award Stephanie Fooks-Parker, MSW, LSW, OSW-C, Social Work Operations Lead in the Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), was presented the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) Pitcher of Hope Award on June 2 during a ceremony in the Colket Translational Research Building. This award honors a CHOP employee who has gone above and beyond to make an impact on the lives of children treated in the Division of Oncology.

Stephanie has spent her entire career at CHOP, caring for patients and their families in the bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy programs for over 30 years. She is a national leader in the field of pediatric oncology social work, continues to serve on the board of several foundations and charities, and has mentored generations of pediatric oncology social workers. Stephanie is a Psychosocial Coordinator for Ronald McDonald Camp and is a past president of the Association of Pediatric Oncology Social Workers (APOSW).

Stephanie Fooks-Parker Presented with the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation 2023 Pitcher of Hope Award The 2023 ALSF Pitcher of Hope Award event marks 19 years of CHOP being a long-standing partner of ALSF, hosting lemonade stands and selling t-shirts at oncology locations across the CHOP Network. ALSF also continues to provide CHOP with philanthropic support and research grants with the goal of eradicating pediatric cancer.
