Congenital Hyperinsulinism Resources for Professionals

Referrals and second opinions

The Congenital Hyperinsulinism Center serves as a resource for physicians for ongoing management of newly diagnosed patient with hyperinsulinism. We also invite you to partner with us in the ongoing treatment of HI by referring diagnosed patients to the Hyperinsulinism Center for second opinion evaluation.

The referral process is easy: We provide comprehensive support and assistance with scheduling, obtaining insurance approval and transporting patients. We also collaborate with referring physicians and maintain close communication prior to transport and after the patient returns home. For more information, contact the Congenital Hyperinsulinism Center by phone at 215-590-7682 or by email at hyperinsulin@chop.edu.
