I ❤️ CHOP Day of Giving

The I ❤️ CHOP Day of Giving on March 28 is your opportunity to double your impact and support the many people, places and programs that make Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) so special. For our inaugural event, a generous $500,000 matching gift opportunity for unrestricted funds has been provided by CHOP’s Board of Trustees!
Unrestricted gifts allow you to make the greatest impact on our patients and families by empowering CHOP to:
- Respond to our most pressing needs
- Drive groundbreaking research
- Provide exceptional care to every child who walks through our doors!
Join us in making our first Day of Giving an astounding success for the many children and families who count on CHOP every day. With your help, we can ensure that every dollar of the $500,000 gift is matched!
When you make a gift, you’re not just donating — you’re joining a vibrant and powerful community that keeps CHOP’s heart beating strong.
Join us in saying “I ❤️ CHOP” with your gift to our inaugural Day of Giving.
We ❤️ CHOP because …
WE ❤️ PATIENT-FAMILY CARE
Encouraging creativity and play in the hospital setting
With support through the Children's Fund, we distributed more than 7,000 activity and craft kits with a total of more than 20,000 items.
WE ❤️ TRAINING & EDUCATION
Building the pipeline of experts in pediatric medicine
Unrestricted gifts helped fund the Professional Excellence and Advancing Knowledge (PEAK) Program in Nursing Clinical Services, which supported 509 employees in FY24 with their professional development expenses.
WE ❤️ COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH
Powering the people, resources and tools to make breakthroughs happen
Unrestricted gifts helped support 14 Cell and Gene Therapy Collaborative Seed Grants, which promote early-stage development of new cell and gene therapies.
WE ❤️ COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Creating safer and healthier communities
With your support through the Children's Fund, CHOP helped more than 670 children and partnered with 35 community sites throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and Camden, NJ, through Project Be-WEHL (Behavioral Health-Wellness Equity for a Healthy Life).
