Vaccine Update for Healthcare ProvidersIt has been 100 years since the worst pandemic in history spread throughout the world. The free podcast series, Going Viral: The Mother of All Pandemics, developed by Mark Honigsbaum and Hannah Mawdsley, explores what is known about the 1918 pandemic and the strain of influenza that caused it. Each episode is incredibly well-researched and includes interviews with experts from around the world.
In the first several episodes, available online now, the series explores three different theories related to where the pandemic started, describes the extreme symptoms through personal descriptions captured in letters and other records, and travels to different parts of the world relevant to understanding the history and science of the event.
