Dr. Marty Myers is a retired professor of pediatric infectious diseases. He has a vast amount of experience with vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases. His new book, Immunization Information, aims to share that experience in a relatable way for parents trying to find accurate information and understand what it means for them.

The first several chapters provide background information about pathogens, infections, and the immune system before going on to describe how to read and evaluate information. The latter half of the book has chapters that address vaccine-preventable diseases and the vaccines that prevent them.
