Vaccine Update for Healthcare ProvidersWritten during the pandemic by high school freshman, Aimen Patel, this book for young children explores vaccines and seeks to dispel misinformation related to vaccines. Using a unique approach to explaining vaccines, the story likens training the immune system through vaccination to learning how to read through continued practice. Also serving as the illustrator for the book, Ms. Patel, who aspires to be a pediatrician, stated, “I wanted to do my part in helping children get the right scientific information.”
