Flu vaccine strains

The FDA’s advisory Committee, VRBPAC, recently met to determine the strains of influenza that will be included in the 2022-2023 influenza season vaccine. They accepted the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recommendation to change two of the four strains. Specifically, the H3N2 A strain and the Victoria lineage B strain will be changed. The H1N1 A strain and the Yamagata lineage B strain will remain the same.
