Vaccine Resources: Improving Immunizations in Your Practice

Vaccine Update for Healthcare ProvidersThe American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently released a series of tools to assist with improving immunization rates within practices. The materials are based on the Plan, Do, Study, Act format and address the following specific aspects of the immunization protocol:
- Use of reminder-recall systems and standing orders
- Vaccine administration
- Use of Vaccine Information Statements (VIS)
Each module includes pre- and post-tests, resources, education and a list of tools to assist with learning and implementation.
