Background

Cheryl Gebeline-Myers, MS, is Associate Vice President of Operations at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Middleman Family Pavilion in King of Prussia. She provides direct oversight of the operations that enable and support the delivery of excellent clinical care and a broad spectrum of services and activities and ensures that the hospital meets its financial objectives. Ms. Gebeline-Myers also partners with leaders across CHOP to ensure that the King of Prussia hospital’s operational model and culture reflect CHOP’s mission, values and standards. A longtime resident of the King of Prussia community, she serves on the board of the King of Prussia District and leads our efforts to develop partnerships with businesses in the King of Prussia area and in surrounding communities.

During her 20-year career in healthcare, Ms. Gebeline-Myers has held leadership roles in healthcare operations, quality improvement, quality and safety at CHOP, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and the University of Pennsylvania Health System. During her time at CHOP, she has built a strong track record of impactful contributions in system-level operations, programmatic design and implementation, and has led pivotal work in areas such as harm prevention, high-level disinfection, and clinical and operational design for the King of Prussia hospital.

Ms. Gebeline-Myers has led national and international presentations, is the author of several peer-reviewed publications, and is co-author of the book Nursing-Led Savings at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds a master of science in Healthcare Quality from The George Washington University and a bachelor of science in Health Services Management from Thomas Jefferson University. She is actively pursuing a master of business administration at Drexel University.
