It can be very stressful to learn your child has bladder exstrophy, cloacal exstrophy, epispadias, or any variation of the bladder exstrophy-epispadias complex. We are here to help at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Our program brings together many specialists who work together to diagnose, evaluate, treat and provide follow-up care for infants, children and adolescents with these complex disorders. We have helped many children with these rare conditions and their families. We are very experienced in treating these conditions. Our goal is to give each child the best surgical care possible and help your child feel better, stay clean and dry, and feel good about their body.

Your child's team in the Bladder Exstrophy Program includes urology specialists who are experts in the diagnosis, surgical treatment and follow-up of infants, children and adolescents with these complex disorders. They're also involved in the development of better ways to treat these conditions.
