ACLS Provider Initial Course

Course description

The initial Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider course is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology.

In this two-day course, skills are taught in large group sessions and small group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

Audience

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

Cost and registration

The registration fee is $250. Please register for a class at chop.enrollware.com. Class must be paid in full upon registration.

Course materials

CHOP has transitioned to using e-Books for all of our courses. You can download the book to a personal computer or device. Upon registration, you will receive a conformation email with instructions for accessing the e-book.
