BLS Heartsaver CPR / AED Course

Course description

The Basic Life Support (BLS) Heartsaver course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on any size individual. This course teaches skills with American Heart Association's (AHA) research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning.

Audience

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Cost and registration

The registration fee is $75. Please register for a class on chop.enrollware.com. Class must be paid in full upon registration.

Course materials

CHOP has transitioned to using e-Books for all of our courses. You can download the book to a personal computer or device. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with directions for accessing the e-book.

You also have the option to purchase your own material from the Laerdal website.
