20th Annual Neonatal Nursing Symposium
This one-day program will provide neonatal nurses with innovative therapies in the neonatal intensive care unit. The target audience will be neonatal nurses from any level NICU (I-IV) with a variety of previous experience levels. This educational offering boasts information on a variety of complex physiological and developmental neonatal issues. Research and technology are consistently expanding, and this program will review some of the latest therapies used to care for sick neonates.

2025 Short Course on Multilingual Approaches to Research Studies (MARS)
Now in its fourth year, this hands-on, interactive training provides researchers with the sensitivity, skills and knowledge to better recruit and engage children, youth or families who prefer a language other than English in health research. Hosted by PolicyLab faculty and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) team members, the Short Course on MARS features in-person sessions comprising of lectures, case studies, small group work and consultations. It is tailored to graduate, postdoctoral, early career and senior investigators, and will support career development for multilingual investigators from underrepresented backgrounds by providing training to leverage language skills for multilingual research and grant-seeking.

Optimizing Medication Safety and Efficacy in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Neonatal healthcare providers are frequently challenged with finding the safest and most effective medication to choose for their patients in the neonatal intensive care unit. This 1-day course will provide an overview of medication safety and specific medication updates including indications, dosing and safety considerations.

Complex Care Conference
This two-and-a-half-day conference is intended for providers who currently care for children with medical complexity (CMC) or who are interested in learning to care for this population. This one-of-a-kind program offers an array of didactic and interactive sessions that will cover key complex care content areas, including review of current diagnostic and management strategies, care of children with medical technology use, and innovations in research, medical education, patient advocacy and models of care. Through learning, sharing, and networking, the goals of this educational conference are to give our collaborative community the tools necessary to best care for CMC and support their families.
