Growth Center (Diagnostic and Research)
Families concerned about their child's growth can find expert evaluation and treatment from our pediatric growth experts at the Diagnostic and Research Growth Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
The center is actively involved in the latest treatments for children with growth and puberty disorders, including researching new approaches.
We work closely with other services at CHOP, so your child may also visit the Clinical Research Center and the outpatient Day Medicine Unit for diagnostic testing as part of their care.
How we serve you
Your child will be evaluated and tested for growth disorders to see if they are in the typical range, given your family's history, or if they may benefit from treatment.

We care for children on both sides of the growth spectrum: those who are small for their age and those who are much bigger than their peers.
