Integrative Health Gastroenterology Clinic

It makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. Integrative health combines mainstream medicine with complementary health practices such as acupuncture, aromatherapy, clinical hypnosis, reiki/healing touch, medical massage, nutrition, mindfulness and yoga.

For children and young adults with gastroenterology (GI) conditions, the Integrative Heath (IH) Gastroenterology Clinic offers a combined approach to treatment. The clinic advises on complementary health practices as a supplement to patients’ existing care plans when appropriate, and offers a variety of therapies.

The Integrative Health Gastroenterology Clinic brings together a team of physicians from the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition who, in addition to training in conventional medicine, have expertise in different forms complementary health practices.
