The BPD Collaborative is a multi-institution group dedicated to improving care and outcomes of infants with severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
Our Newborn and Infant Chronic Lung Disease Program was designated a Frontier Program by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2017. Frontier Programs are unique, cutting-edge programs that will forge important new discoveries, deliver novel therapies, and help even more children thrive.

This case study follows a 25-week infant transferred to the N/IICU at CHOP at 4 months for further management by the Newborn and Infant Chronic Lung Disease Program. The patient underwent right upper lobectomy and tracheostomy placement.
