Family Centered Prevention Training Program

Family Centered Prevention Training Program

Mother and son
This training program was made possible by the generous funding of the Delaware County Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.

The Family Centered Prevention Training Program is a free, community-focused training to help families prevent opioid and medication-related poisonings. Recognizing that households with opioids need tailored guidance, this program provides clear, actionable education on safe storage, proper dosing, overdose recognition, and the use of naloxone and drug testing strips.

Designed for parents, caregivers, teens, recovery communities, educators, and healthcare workers, the training uses engaging videos and a "train-the-trainer" approach to empower participants to share life-saving knowledge within their own networks.
