Using the SART Cart Light

Newmowa SL-60AI, SART cart light diagram

Clipping on the Light

  • Remove the light from the SART cart and attach it to the back of the phone using the back clip. The clip has a spring and will expand to fit any smartphone's width.
  • Confirm that the light isn't obscuring the phone's camera view.

Controls

  • Holding the power/mode switch button (widest button) turns the phone on and off. Pressing it quickly changes light modes between white, yellow, and mixed white/yellow.
  • Additional buttons are used to increase or decrease brightness.
  • The light should illuminate the patient's anatomy evenly and effectively on any setting.

Troubleshooting

  • If illumination still seems insufficient with the light on, try lowering the ambient light level in the exam room, i.e., by turning off the overhead lights.
  • The battery can be charged using the micro-USB or USB-C cable available in the SART cart.

Cleaning and Storage

Turn the light off, clean with Oxivir wipes, and replace in the SART cart when the exam is complete.
