- Continue Yellow Zone rescue therapy until respiratory status returns to baseline
- Consider flu shot during influenza season
- Assess allergen triggers (e.g., pollen) and consider therapy at discharge, as clinically indicated

- Asthma education in class or at bedside completed and documented
- Encourage parent/caregiver to pick up prescriptions prior to discharge teaching
- Provide Asthma Action Plan to patient/caregiver
- Educate patient/caregiver about Asthma Action Plan, using discharge medications during education
- Consider Community Asthma Prevention Program (CAPP)
