Caring for the patient post tongue reduction

For patients who undergo tongue reduction surgery, sleep study should be repeated prior to discharge to determine if there is significant residual obstructive sleep apnea that requires further treatment or close follow-up. This study can be arranged through consultation with Dr. Cielo/pulmonary consult team close to the time of discharge.
