Behavioral Health Discharge Disposition Clinical Pathway — Inpatient
Patient Cohort
Child with an active Behavioral Health diagnosis or behaviors currently impacting their ability to successfully participate in medical care or impairing their ability to safely or successfully function in the community (home and/or school).
Inclusions
- Active suicidal/homicidal ideation
- Recent (within past 1 month)/current suicide attempt
- Self-injurious/mutilating behaviors
- Severe depression/anxiety impacting their ability to function — i.e., not able to engage in school, not performing activities of daily living (ADL's), etc.
- Unsafe/risky/impulsive behaviors — i.e., eloping behaviors, fire-setting, etc.
- Physical aggression toward others
- Psychosis/catatonia/intentional ingestion/substance use/misuse
