Trauma

Even with appropriate trauma care, complications can occur including the following:

  • Aspiration
  • Permanent tooth damage/loss
  • Infection
  • Injury to surrounding facial structures

Potential Infection

If left untreated, infection can progress to more serious/widespread infection.

  • Sinusitis
  • Osteomyelitis
  • Sepsis
  • Periorbital cellulitis
