Infant Single Ventricle Monitoring Program
Program Purpose
Decrease interstage mortality and increase quality of life in patients with high-risk shunt-dependent physiology
Program Interventions and Monitoring
- Patients are followed until Stage II or complete repair
- Team works with family, CHOP cardiologist, home cardiologist (if applicable), and pediatrician
- Proactive identification of potential risk factors to decrease complications, morbidities and mortality
- Close monitoring of feeding tolerance, weight gain and oxygen saturation
