Identifying Adolescents ≥ 13 Years at Risk for STI

This pathway guides the care of female, male, transgender, gender diverse adolescents ≥ 13 years who are:

Sexually active and in need of routine screening
At risk for STI as determined by patient history — At-Risk Behaviors Definition
Experiencing symptoms suggestive of STI — STI Signs and Symptoms

Exclusions

< 13 years of age
Victims of sexual assault
- ED Sexual Abuse Clinical Pathway
- CHOP Interpretation of Mandatory Reporting for Sexual Abuse under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law and Crimes Code
