  • ED Team Leader – (1) Attending Physician/Senior Fellow
  • Trauma Chief – (1) Fellow or attending, can initiate surgical case/procedure in ED or OR
  • Trauma Attending – (1) Required presence for Level One Activation

  • Primary/Secondary Surveyor (1)

Consulting Services (as needed)
  • Difficult Airway Team (1-2)
    Consider for artificial airway.
    Penetrating trauma to neck, jaw etc.
  • Neurosurgery (1)
    Suspected operative neurosurgical emergencies, severe head injury (GCS < 8) and/or spinal cord injury with persistent neurological signs and symptoms.
  • Orthopedics (1)
    Open fracture, neurovascular emergency, dislocation of knee/hip, proximal tibia fracture with posterior displacement and/or amputation.
  • Plastic Surgery/Vascular (1)
    • Upper extremity (distal to mid-humerus) consult hand service.
    • Lower extremity (distal to mid-femur) consult vascular LE Trauma Service.
    • Central vascular issues trauma and/or CT surgery.
  • Additional services may be contacted as indicated based on presenting injury.
