Signs and Symptoms of Bleeding

  • GI bleeding (black tarry stools, bright red blood)
  • Oozing at IV insertion sites or surgical wounds
  • Gross hematuria
  • Severe epistaxis
  • Bleeding, causing a drop in hemoglobin by 2 g/dL
  • Hemoptysis
