18th Annual Celiac Education Day

Date:
Mar 5, 2023 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ET)

Each year, the Celiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides children with celiac disease and their caregivers with a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary educational program. This year, we are pleased to offer this free event both in-person and virtually!

For those attending in-person, we will provide fun, interactive activities for kids while caregivers attend the lectures. All lectures will be live streamed for virtual attendees.

The 18th Annual Celiac Education Day is open to CHOP families who want to:

  • Hear evidence-based lectures about celiac disease, current research and potential new treatments from respected experts in the field
  • Learn how celiac disease presents across the lifespan – from early childhood through adolescence and early adulthood
  • Understand more about key nutrients your child needs on gluten free diet
  • Hear from other kids with celiac disease about their real-life experiences

Register now

Note: After you register, a link to join the event for virtual attendees will be sent to your email in the week prior to the event. Please do not share the link with others.

Space is extremely limited for children wishing to attend so we ask that you only bring your child/children with celiac disease to this event. Light gluten-free refreshments will be served. Parking is available in the Buerger parking garage. Masks are required for all in-person attendees.
