Each year, the Celiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides children with celiac disease and their caregivers with a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary educational program. This year, we are pleased to offer this free event both in-person and virtually!
For those attending in-person, we will provide fun, interactive activities for kids while caregivers attend the lectures. All lectures will be live streamed for virtual attendees.
The 19th Annual Celiac Education Day is open to CHOP families who want to:
- Hear about the latest research and potential new treatments for celiac disease from respected experts in the field
- Learn what celiac disease looks like through the years — from early childhood through adolescence and early adulthood
- Understand more about your child’s nutritional needs on gluten-free diet
- Hear from other kids with celiac disease about their real-life experiences
Note: After you register, a link to join the event for virtual attendees will be sent to your email in the week prior to the event. Please do not share the link with others.
Space is extremely limited for children wishing to attend so we ask that you only bring your child/children with celiac disease to this event. Light gluten-free refreshments will be served. Parking is available in the Buerger parking garage, next to the HUB.
