 Spina Bifida Program:

Children with spina bifida have complex medical issues involving multiple body systems such as the central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, urinary and gastrointestinal systems. The Spina Bifida Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia was established in 1964 and was the first in the nation dedicated to the multidisciplinary care of patients with spina bifida to provide the best outcomes for each child. The program has a longstanding mission of partnering with patients and families to provide individualized care that maximizes each child’s potential and follows more than 500 patients.

The 60th Anniversary Gala will serve as a momentous occasion to reflect on tremendous efforts to date of the program, while fundraising for the future of the program. We hope that this Gala will also help to bring awareness to individuals living with Spina Bifida and the importance of ensuring that all families are able to receive the medical care needed for their children.

Please join us for a night of dinner, drinks, and dancing while we celebrate and honor those who have helped to make the program such a success to date.

Spina Bifida Program Family Advisory Board:

Meet the members of the Spina Bifida Program Family Advisory board and their children. These board members are responsible for planning this gala alongside CHOP. Our hope is to raise greater awareness for our children who have Spina Bifida while also raising money to help other families.
