Intimacy and Support Relationships
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it impacts every aspect of life, particularly the relationships that typically provide comfort and connection. Parents and primary caregivers may find that the intimacy and support they once enjoyed in their relationships feel strained or are lacking altogether. In this month’s session, we will explore ways to nurture and strengthen intimacy and support in the relationships that matter most.
Momcology is national nonprofit organization that facilitates peer support for parents and primary caregivers of children who have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Support group sessions will give you the chance to meet and talk with others experiencing what you’re going through.
