Controlling the Controllable
Navigating the world of childhood cancer often makes us feel that certain aspects of life are out of our control. This sense of uncertainty can increase our fear and anxiety. This month's session will identify specific elements we can control and discuss strategies that will help us to be more confident in making positive decisions. We will also examine how to maintain a sense of control in our daily lives, even during times of fear and uncertainty.
Momcology is national nonprofit organization that facilitates peer support for parents and primary caregivers of children who have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Support group sessions will give you the chance to meet and talk with others experiencing what you’re going through.
