Overview
In this one-day virtual symposium, we will discuss ways the environment impacts our health in the food we eat and the chemicals in and around us. Attendees will learn how to be climate informed and discuss climate anxiety with children and adolescents. Topics covered include the spiritual environment, nutrition and the microbiome, as well as the digital environment and more. Practical tools to improve our personal environment will be shared.
Objectives
- Describe 4 elements that make the Blue Zones communities of healthy living.
- Identify the role that climate and environment has on our food quality.
- List 3 interventions you can do to make your home more sustainable and regenerative.
- Describe strategies to improve our communication with children and adolescents on climate change.
