Join us on Oct. 25, 2025, at 8 a.m., for Keeping Kids with Diabetes Safe in School and Community Settings.

This one-day, in-person course at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) HUB for Clinical Collaboration will provide nurses and non-healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills essential to caring for children with diabetes.  

Clinical staff from CHOP’s Diabetes Center for Children, which is ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the country for diabetes and endocrinology care, will share their expertise. Topics will include: 

  • Type 1 and type 2 diabetes care
  • Self-care management principles
  • Introduction to insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring systems
  • Emotional impact of diabetes on families and available support resources 

Early bird registration is $30 through June 30, 2025, and includes a continental breakfast, lunch and onsite parking in our Buerger Parking Garage. The cost to register after July 1, 2025 is $50.
