Overview

The Pediatric Anesthesia Point of Care Ultrasound Course will focus on POCUS applications most relevant to pediatric anesthesia providers. We will cover transthoracic echocardiography for assessment of cardiac function and volume status, lung ultrasound for assessment of pneumothorax, effusion, and use for one lung ventilation, gastric ultrasound for assessment of gastric contents and aspiration risk evaluation, airway ultrasound for sizing the airway and surgical airway landmarks, and neuraxial ultrasound for regional anesthesia.
