This course provides an overview of point-of-care ultrasound, with a focus on pediatric anesthesia indications for use in the perioperative period. It is designed for providers with limited or basic knowledge of point-of-care ultrasound. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions using live pediatric models and simulation equipment, course attendees will learn ultrasound fundamentals as well as ultrasound scanning techniques pertinent to pediatric anesthesia practice.
