Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Pediatric Research Center
3615 Civic Center Blvd., First Floor, ABC 123, Philadelphia, PA 19104

May 4, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (ET)

Let’s celebrate being together at this year’s Spring Fling, for girls 7 years and older with Turner syndrome (TS) and their parents and guardians.

Parents and guardians of TS patients younger than 7 are also welcome. This event is open to CHOP and non-CHOP patients.

Please note: We cannot accommodate siblings at this event.

Program highlights

  • New this year! Teen and Parent Panel: Hear what teens with TS and seasoned parents have to say about living and thriving with TS. They’ll share lessons learned and tips for managing common aspects of TS at various ages.
  • Calling all chefs! One of Philadelphia’s most highly regarded restaurants, Vetri, is bringing its mobile kitchen to Spring Fling. There will be hands-on food preparation and sampling of the prepared recipe plus education on the health benefits of food!
  • Inhale and relax. Ever wonder about the benefits of essential oils or how to use them? Learn all about aromatherapy from a clinical expert from the CHOP Integrative Health Program.
  • Back by popular demand! Stress reduction strategies, mindfulness, yoga and breathing techniques will be covered by an inspiring yoga instructor from CHOP.
  • Express yourself through art! CHOP’s art therapists will join us for a fun and interactive project meant to ignite creative expression of self.
