The goal of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s first Technology Inclusion and Accessibility Summit is to bring together technology and inclusion/diversity experts to learn, problem solve and actively combat bias and increase technology usability for all people. Special attention will focus on intersectionality and human-centered design. The Summit will be held in person on CHOP’s Philadelphia Campus.

  • unconscious bias 
  • importance of diversity in technology design 
  • key challenges with accessible mobile technology and how to designing with accessibility in mind 
  • LGBTQ+ diversity in technology around healthcare, usability, visibility and representation 
  • race, agism and religion in technology 
  • socioeconomic status/technology gaps

Limited parking may be available at a cost in the Buerger Center for Advanced Behavioral Healthcare underground garage. Public transportation is encouraged.
