Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Among 15 Most Innovative Children’s Hospitals, Parents Magazine Says

Published on

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia was named one of the 15 most innovative children’s hospitals by Parents magazine based on the results of a comprehensive survey.

CHOP was specifically recognized this year for our use of genetic testing to find answers for children whose illnesses had eluded diagnosis and then creating personalized treatments to restore the children’s health. The Roberts Individualized Medical Genetics Center at CHOP has helped more than 1,000 children so far. Our kid-friendly robot, NAO, also got a shoutout for helping children feel welcome and safe at the hospital — even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey was sent to members of the Children’s Hospital Association to identify hospitals with a proven track record of innovations that have led to medical advances. The survey also took into account a hospital’s adoption of the latest technologies and its efforts to share its innovations with other pediatric centers so more kids can benefit. CHOP is the only children’s hospital in the region to be recognized.

We’re honored to be part of this elite group of innovators recognized by Parents magazine.
