CHOP Announces Membership in PLEXUS Shared Workspace

The Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation recently announced its membership in a new shared workspace, PLEXUS, specifically designed for healthcare innovation companies. One PLEXUS start-up company, called Velano Vascular, has devised a less painful method of drawing blood and has raised nearly $3.5 million from investors, including CHOP.  For more information on PLEXUS, as well as some of the additional member companies making a home there, read this article in the Philadelphia Business Journal (free subscription required).
