Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been recognized as one of the 50 most community-minded employers in the Greater Philadelphia region for the fifth year in a row through the 2025 Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia Awards.
The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia, a regional initiative led by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia in partnership with Points of Light, lead partner the Philadelphia Foundation, and other local organization, recognizes companies and institutions using their time, talent and resources to drive social impact. Honorees help set the standard for civic engagement across the region.

Each year, organizations are evaluated based on four dimensions of community engagement: investment of resources, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems, and impact measurement. This year, CHOP scored in the top 25th percentile across all four areas.
The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia honors private and public companies, nonprofits, hospitals, and universities with more than 10 employees operating across the 11-county Greater Philadelphia region.
