CHOP Injury Prevention Expert Offers Tips for Holiday Season

The holiday season is a really busy time of year for everyone and children are exposed to many new scenarios. Toy safety remains an important issue, and a controversial toy called Buckyballs are presenting a hazard for young children who might swallow them. 

Gina Duchossois, an injury prevention expert with the Injury Prevention Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, sat down for an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer.  Duchossois offers parents important tips on toy safety advice and the additional top holiday concerns of parents during the holiday season.
