CHOP Joins the #MaskUp Movement

Hospitals across the country ask everyone to 'mask up' to help slow the spread of COVID-19

Published on in CHOP News

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and other leading healthcare organizations in the tri-state area join more than 2,000 hospitals nationwide in a public service campaign promoting ongoing masking during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Let's Keep It Up. Let's All #Maskup Created by leaders at several major healthcare organizations, #MaskUp unites hospitals across the country to encourage continued and consistent masking at this critical time. Because we know that masks — in conjunction with other public health guidance, including proper hand hygiene and physical distancing — slow the spread of COVID-19, CHOP is proud to join our national healthcare partners in this effort.

Through the end of 2020, the #MaskUp public service advertisement can be viewed in national news outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. The campaign can also be seen on local media and on CHOP’s social media channels.
