CHOP's Chief Information Officer Named One of “Most Influential Women in Health IT"

Kisha Hortman Hawthorne, PhD Kisha Hortman Hawthorne, PhD Kisha Hortman Hawthorne, PhD, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) was named one of the “Most Influential Women in Health IT” for 2019 by Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, also known as HIMSS.

Dr. Hortman Hawthorne was one of five 2019 award recipients recognized for playing an integral role in making the health information and technology workforce a better place. She was also recognized for being a collaborative, energetic leader, and championing the use of health information and technology to improve patient care delivery.
