Endocrinology, GI on the Move in Voorhees, NJ

Starting Oct. 3, appointments with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia specialists in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition will each be consolidated in one of our two Voorhees, NJ Specialty Care Centers.

Currently, appointments with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia specialists in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition are available at both of our Voorhees, NJ, locations. Beginning this fall, appointments with Endocrinology will be consolidated into the Virtua Voorhees location, and appointments with Gastroenterology will be consolidated into the other location.

Streamlining appointments in one location will lessen confusion for families. It will also allow additional team members and resources to be focused in one area, leading to the most comprehensive care, with opportunities to expand services and capabilities in the future.

Gastroenterology

All appointments for GI will take place at the CHOP Specialty Care and Surgery Center Voorhees, 1012 Laurel Oak Road, Laurel Oak Corporate Center, Voorhees, NJ 08043.

Endocrinology

Appointments with Endocrinology will take place at the CHOP at Virtua Voorhees Specialty Care Center, located at 200 Bowman Drive, Voorhees, NJ 08043.

CHOP’s offices are on the second floor of the Virtua Health & Wellness Center, adjacent to the Virtua Voorhees Hospital on Route 73.

Note: Appointments for the Gender Clinic and the Pediatric Thyroid Center will remain at the Voorhees Specialty Care Center.

For patients who see Gastroenterology or Endocrinology specialists at the CHOP Specialty Care Center, Atlantic County, NJ, there is no change. They will continue to see their specialists in Mays Landing.
