When Gianna Parsekian began experiencing headaches at the age of 12, she thought nothing of it. Eventually, her family realized that Gianna’s headaches were not normal and sought answers. An MRI revealed she had a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. Gianna was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where Phillip B. Storm, MD, pediatric neurosurgeon and Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery, removed the tumor.
