Child with Tethered Cord
This pathway will be used for children suspected of requiring a simple or complex tethered cord release at PHL Campus who do not meet the exclusion criteria listed below. Surgery is typically completed after 3 months of age with family input.
Exclusion Criteria
- Medically complex requiring ICU post-op regardless of surgical intervention
- Congenital heart failure
- Chronic respiratory failure
- Concurrent spinal surgery
