Goals

To standardize the approach to post-operative care for children and young adults undergoing periacetabular osteotomy resulting in:

  • Decreased length of stay
  • Optimized pain control
  • Optimized post-operative mobility

Metrics

  • Increase:
    • Compliance with pain medication regimen
  • Decrease:
    • Opioid use and pain scores
    • Time to achievement of PT goals
    • Overall length of stay
  • Balancing measure:
    • 30-day readmissions
