- Hip ROM Precautions
- TTWB on affected extremity
- Daily compliance to provided home exercise program
- Continue OOB to chair and ambulation at least TID
- CPM 0-50° if indicated
- Surgical dressings removed and shower post-op day 5, maintain Steri-Strips

Medications |
- Oxycodone: q4-6hr PRN
- Diazepam: q6-8hr PRN
- Acetaminophen: q4-6hr PRN
- Ibuprofen: q6h-8hr PRN
- Aspirin: 325 mg daily x4 wks
- Cholecalciferol: 50 mcg daily x6 wks
- Famotidine: 20 mg nightly
- Polyethylene glycol: 17 g daily
- Senna: 17.2 mg nightly
- Indomethacin, if indicated: 25 mg TID x5 days

Concerning Symptoms |
- Fever
- Incisional concerns
- Erythema, drainage, swelling
- Pain not responsive to medications
- Return to hospital or call Orthopedics Clinic:

Follow-up |
- Orthopedic APP contacts family within 72 hrs of discharge
- Return to Orthopedics Clinic in approximately 6 wks
