Vitamin A for Measles Infection, Supplementation

Vitamin A enhances immune function and may be beneficial in reducing illness severity and complications. The oral dose may be repeated in 2 to 6 wks if clinical signs or symptoms of vitamin A deficiency are present.

6-11 mos 30,000 mcg (100,000 units) once daily for 2 days
≥ 12 mos 60,000 mcg (200,000 units) once daily for 2 days
